Life in Susquehanna Depot

Susquehanna Depot Borough is a great place to live. Our quaint town is almost like stepping back in time. On summer evenings folks sit on their porches or talk leisurely walks. The walkers usually don't get far before they stop to chat with their neighbors.

It's fun to see what home improvement projects local families have completed to spiff up their 100 year old homes. Flowers decorate porches and American flags abound. Little league baseball, soccer, and other sports are popular. Fishing, boating, hiking and barb-b-que are some favoriate pass times here.

We celebrate the seasons with local events like the Memorial Day Parade, Hometown Days, Pumpkin Fest and Christmas Tree Lighting. Our local clubs and churches sponsor events for children that include the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Fishing Derby, Halloween Costume Parade, and Breakfast with Santa. The whole town comes together on these events to share the joys of the seasons.
